Senior Marketing Specialist – Murphy Homes (Madison, AL)
Pay: $55,000 – $70,000 per year (based on experience)
Job Summary
Murphy Homes is seeking a highly motivated, experienced, and detail-oriented Senior Marketing Specialist to build and own our in-house marketing operations.
This is not a support role within a large marketing department. You will be the core day-to-day marketing engine for Murphy Homes, working directly with the Sales & Marketing Manager and our Online Sales Coordinator (OSC) to execute campaigns that drive leads, brand awareness, and sales.
The ideal candidate is a hands-on marketer who thrives in a fast-paced environment, takes ownership of results, and brings both creative and analytical strengths to the table. You should be comfortable building structure where none exists, managing multiple initiatives at once, and seeing projects through from concept to execution.
A portfolio of relevant marketing work and examples of live websites or campaigns you have owned are required to be considered for this role.
Key Responsibilities

Own day-to-day marketing execution for Murphy Homes across digital platforms

Develop and execute content marketing initiatives to enhance brand visibility and lead generation

Manage and update the company website, ensuring all content is current, accurate, and conversion-focused

Plan, create, and schedule social media content; monitor engagement and optimize performance

Utilize HubSpot and marketing automation tools to support campaign workflows and lead nurturing

Track and analyze campaign performance using analytics tools; provide insights and recommendations

Conduct market and competitor research to inform marketing strategy

Collaborate closely with the Sales & Marketing Manager and OSC to align marketing efforts with sales goals

Support product launches, promotions, and community marketing initiatives

Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and marketing project planning

Maintain brand consistency across all marketing channels and assets

Help build scalable marketing systems and processes from the ground up
Required Experience & Qualifications

3+ years of experience in content marketing, social media marketing, or digital marketing

Proven experience executing and managing successful marketing campaigns

Strong portfolio showcasing content creation, campaigns, websites, or digital marketing work

Ability to provide live examples of websites or campaigns you have owned or directly managed

Familiarity with HubSpot for website management and marketing automation (highly preferred)

Experience using marketing automation platforms and analytics tools

Strong analytical skills with experience interpreting performance data and reporting insights

Experience with budgeting, forecasting, or marketing project planning

Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and time management

Ability to work independently and take ownership in a build-from-scratch environment

Strong communication and collaboration skills
Preferred Experience

Experience in real estate, homebuilding, or a related industry
